The forecast for Taupo and district, supplied this morning by the New Zealand Meteorological Service, Wellington, is:— FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT FRIDAY: Easterlies, fresh in exposed areas, partly cloudy and rather cold. Scattered showers, mainly in and near the eastern high country, becoming more general during tomorrow. OUTLOOK FOR SATURDAY: Moderate east to south-east winds, and mainly fair.
