AERO CLUB
Taupo Aero Club raised more than £7 for club funds through its conducted flights round Taupo at the opening of the new airport last weekend. This represented 5 per cent. of gross takings, the rest of which went to Rotorua Aero Club. A percentage' of the takings is expected from the Spanz flights for the club funds. The club will soon start to use the airport for its weekend flying, and eventually hopes to have a building on the site.
