A rotary lawn mower, powered by a four-stroke eugine, has a vacuum system for sucking up leaves, grass and twigs, and gives a banded finish to the grass, similar to the cross-bladed cylinder type mower. There are four shock-absorbing blades which make an 18-inch cut, and the depth is adjustable for grass of lawn or orchard height. An indestructible grass box, made of thermoplastic, is removable and can he replaced by a grass guard. The design of the die-cast frame makes it easy to mow near the border or trees, and the banded finish to the lawn is made by two aluminium rollers at the heavier rear end of the machine.
