Hockey Team Wins Game

Taupo-nui-a-Tia College hockey team beat Rotorua High School 1st XI. 16-nil in a fast game on T'hursday. On the Taupo side the forward line played well and the team drove through with plenty of stickwork. Taupo players who gave a shining performance were B. Righton, Michael Tritt and Russell Righton. Righton varied his attack as he played the centre-half position and was able to feed the wings expertly and play a major part in coverdefence. For Rotorua, Furlong played well as ' goalkeeper. Centre-half M. Reeder had a settling effect on the team during the game.
