ONLY FOUR DAYS LEFT FOR MOTOR RE-LICENSING

The rate at which Taupo motorists are relieensing their vehicles points to a last-minute rnsli. As at yesterday morning, only 1124 licences had been recorded at the Post Office compared with 1976 for the same period last year — about 15 days since June 1 — making 852 fewer. The total number of all types of vehicles licensed in Taupo last year was 5888. There are only four days left after today in which to re-licence vehicles during normal office hours, including tomorrow night's extension from 6.30 to 8 p.m. The Post Office will not be open for licensing on Saturday.
