CLUBHOUSE BY NEXT SEASON
Tenders have closed for the building of Taupo Yacht Club' s new club- . house on the landing reserve. Selection of the successful tender is expected to be made by the club's general committee within the next week, after members have discussed a number of outstanding details. . The building, which will cost about £10,500, will probably be started before Christmas, though completion is not expected until well into next year's yachting season. All major work on the clubhouse will be done by contract, but some of the finishing work, possibly in the 1500 sq. ft. basement, may be done by members.
