New Home For Pensioners
At a special meeting held last. week, of the committee administering the Sunset Old Folks' Residential Home ( u ndenominat ional ) , si tu a teci at Blockhouse Bay, Auckland, it was decided that as the present home opened approximately 15 years ago had proved such a boon to so many aged and friendless pensioners, another home similar to the present one, should be built. The present home eaters for 56 residents, male and female accepted from throughout the Auckland province, and has been built entirely out of voluntary contributions.
