Obstruction Of Sun

Pine trees which obstruci the sun from reaching adjoining houses was a subject for discu.ssion at the Taupo Borough Council meeting on Monday. Cr J. Stanley requested a staff inspection of one site in the borough where he said trees were about 50 feet high and kept the house in the next section in a state of cold dampness. He also asked for a demolition order to be made on twTo huts in the offending property. .The Mayor, Mr J. E. Story, mentioned a similar case and said a family living in the house sheltered from the sun were frequently suffering from colds.
