Three Contest Labour Branch Leadership
A three-way contest for chairman of the Tokoroa branch of the Labour Party resulted in the election of Mr A. Ogden. The meeting was attended by fifty branch members and the guest speaker was Mr B. S. Gustafson, chairman of the Taupo Labour representation committee and the South Auckland-Wai-kato-Bay of Plenty combined areas.
