PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the King Country Electric Power Board at a meeting held on the 23rd day of-April, 1965, passed the following resolution: — THAT in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by the Electric-Power Boards Act 1925, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and Regulations made thereunder, the King Country Electric Power Board hereby resolves by way of Special Order: — THAT for the purpose of Reticulation of Turangi Town in consequence. of the Tongariro Development Scheme, the King Country Electric Power Board hereby authorises the raising of a Loan of Two hundred and fifty-two thousand pounds (£252,000) as follows: — £110,000 for a term of 6 years at an interest rate of 5% per annum and £142,000 for a term of 20 years at an interest rate of 514% per annum; and THAT the security for the payment of interest, repayment of principal and the payment of other charges on the said loan be a special rate of five decimal two three pence (5.23d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the King Country Electric Pow- ; er District. ■ ' — = i PURSUANT to Section 45 of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the foregoing resolution will be submitted for confirmation by the Board at a meeting to be held in the Board's office, Manuaute Street, Taumarunui on FRIDAY, the 28th day of May, 1965, at 10.15 a.m. PURSUANT to Section 34
