HOCKEY
Two women's hockey competition matches were played last Saturday in fine but cool weather. Results: United 11, College B 0; Taupo 7, College A 1. A representative team travelled to Rotorua on Sunday, May 9 to take part in trials to select a team to meet the New South Wales touring team at Rotorua on May 29. The combined Bay of Plenty-Taupo team will be announced la.ter.
