£382 For Taupo Red Cross
Taupo branch of the N.Z. Red Cross Society collected a total of £382/15/- during its annual appeal on Saturday. The organiser, Mrs A. H. Hope, has thankcd all those who assistcd with the collection, particularly members of Taupo Rotary and Lions clubs who jrrovided cars and drivers. To the public, Mrs Hope said she tendered her thanks for "particularly gracious giving" — a fact which was reflected in the generous total collected. /■ -1 -j
