TAI PO'S priniary school children continue to niaintain their place among the three top sehools for thrift in the Hamilton postal district. About 90 children make regular deposits isi their post office saviogs bank accounts at the school each week, the average deposit being sometliing between 2s and 2s 6d. Oue or two bring as mueh as £1 to school. One boy electrified the headmaster, Mr G. W. Foote, at the beginning of the first term this year when he handed in £20, which he had earned during the school holidays. It a chiicl saves regularly, he will have between £25 and £40 in ihe bank when he leaves primary school.
