A. Harlow, S.M., in Taupo Gourt. Sergeant X. G. Waters said tliat Strathern was driving his car liorthI ward along the Taupo-Wairakei highway at 8.30 a.m. on June 20 wlien the car erashed into the back of the hus, which was parked well off the road. Strathern told the police that ne was travelllng slowly at the time. tne fog was had, and he could see only 18ft. ahead. He did not see Ihe hus titi after the accident.
