TOURIST BUREAUX MEN VISIT TAUPO TO GATHER INFORMATION

EIGHT senior officers in tlie Tourist and Publicity Departmeiit from different parts of New Zealand visited Taupo recently to bring themselyes UD-to-date on the scenie and sporting resources of tliis area. They spent two days here. and were very interested in the facilities for American tourists to shoot deer and pigs. Mr H. Philpott, president of the Chamber of Commerce, took them to various places connected with their requests for information.
