REP. HOCKEY FIXTURE AGAINST WAIOURU CAMP THIS SATURDAY
As was the ease last year0 hockey lias entered that part of the season in which players hegin to prophesy the winners of the eompetition, but there are still some good representative matehes to be played. Tlie women have begun the Grace Cup series. Last Saturday United 2 ( Mrs M. Loughlin and Mrs S. Doctor) beat Taupo 1 (Mrs W. Bramley) in a good, fast game. This means that United holds the cup, and Waitahanui has the right to ehallenge. Next Saturday Mangakino school will play Taupo school (both boys and girls) at 11 o'clock in the morning. Those games will be followed by a men's representative game, Taupo against Waiouru military camp. The following are requlred to report on the ground at 2 p.m. : K. Christensen, Kori Rameka, J. Nathoo, .T. McCormack. D. Daniel, W. Heke, W. Bromley, R. Nathoo, H. Karaitiana, P. Srnith, M. Nelson, D. Willis. and D. Marino.
