ASSAULTED HIS WIFE, WAS FINED £10
For assulting his wife, Raymond S Williamson, 30, driver and workman, | was fined £10 and costs by Messrs R. H. Ward and V. Fail, J.P.'s, in Taupo Police Court. Sergeant N. C. Waters, who arrested him, told the court there had been domestic trouble. Williamson j had been clrmking, and he assaulted hjjE wife4by striking he?. on the head aiid body with his hand. Mrs Williamson summoned the police. There were no obvious signs of assault, Mr Waters said. Mr Ward warned Williamson that | gaol ' would follow any further assaults.
