CAPSULE MEAL
The capsule meal lias arrived. a group of scientists reported in Chicago. "From now on, any one can take a meal with a glass of water," said one of the scientists, Dr Oscar E. Dans. A few tablespoons of a new powdered food concentrate contains all the proteins, carbohydrates and fat needed, togetlier with essential minerals and vitamins. "It requires no supplementing by any other food," said Dr DavLs. Although introduced mainly for people with special diets, the food was being used by uormal, healthy people. For people subject to high blood pressure, heart failure, eancer, obesity and other conditions, the powder is superior to normal foods. "Physicians can be certain tlie patient is getting the proper nutritional ingredients," explained Dr .DavisThe doctor admitted capsule meals had one drawback. "Patients miss the taste and appearance of natural foods," lie said. "But they get used to the concentrate. It's very palatable."
