NO MORE PREFABS. FOR SCHOOL

Recently the School Committee asked the South Auckland Education Board to provide another prefabricated building for the old school. The committee has been told unofficially that it could not have another prefab., since the Education Department had abandosied the policy of prefabricated buildings, and none was available. A temporary alternative is that within a month one block of the new secondary school will be available to primary scholars tiil the whole of the secondary department is ready for occupation by secondary pupils. It is hoped by the committee that the new school will be ready for occupation on Oetober 7.
