Each play has its own stage and lighting plans, which have been decided by collaboration among the various groups. The judge, Mrs L. K. Paine, of Hamilton, will give a commentary on eaeh play on all three nights. Shc has had considerahle experience in production, and what she has to say should be of interest hoth to the players and public.

The order of presentation on each of the three nights, is as follows : First night : Taupo Dramatic Society ; Reporoa Drama Club ; Tokoroa Drama Club. ,Second night : Taupo Dramatic Society ; Mangakino Countrywomen's Institute ; Mangakino Drama Club. Final night : Taupo Dramatic Society ; Mangakino Countrywomen's Institute. Reporoa will stage a comedy, "Still Waters," by Delsie Darke, in place of ''The AVitching Hour" by Philip Johnson. It has a cast of two men and four women, and the producer is Jack Collins. It is of interest that since the local society was formed in 1952 with a membership of 50, the number has increased to approximately 100. Mr J. E. Barton was the society's first president.
