NAPIER REP. TEAMS COMING TO TAUPO THIS SATURDAY
Taupo men's representatives were defeated by Army at Waiouru last Saturday by three goals to oue. It Is expected that a return match will be played / at Taupo later in the season. Only oue game of hockey was played here last .Saturday, when •Waitahanui defeated United women by five goals to three, and thus won the women's competition, The other scheduled game for women7® teams was won by Tau,po through default by Tongariro.
This Saturday men's and women's teams from Napier are to play here agpinst local representative teams. The women's match will be followed immediately by the men's match. That evening the teams will be entertained at Nukuhau Hall. There is to be a short film on hockey, followed by a dance. Members of the Hawke's Bay Hockey Association are coming with the > Napier teams to discuss hockey problems with the Taupo sub-associa-tion. The* women's team as pub.lished last week will play the Napier women's representative team, and the following men players are to report on the ground by 1 p.m. : K. Ohristenseii, J. McCormack, J. Nathoo, H. Tangohau, W. Heke, D. Daniel, R. Nathoo, H. Karitiana, N. McMahon, M. Nelson, P. Smith, J. Calkin, E. Hill, D. Willis to play against the Napier men's team.
