SHIELD DONATED FOR INDOOR BOWLING SERIES
Entries not being as large as anticipated, the field was divided into 14 teams of three at the indoor bowling tournament last week. Five games of five heads were played, and teams skipped by Mrs Bostock and Rex Mclsaac went through without a loss. In a sharp play-off, Mrs Bostock narrowly defeated Mclsaaft. The jwinning team comprised O. Delaney, L. Graf and Mrs Bostock (skip) , the runners-up being P. Rackley, Mrs Mclsaac and Rex Mclsaac. Other results were. W. Rewa four wins, F. Harding, W. Tito and J. Ryder three wins each. A handsome shield has been donated by Mr and Mrs W. Harding for inter-club challenge matches, and the club looks forward to some 'interesting games in this series when it gets under way.
