Total Of £292 In Hand For Band Fund
Nearly £300 has been collected ^£292 to be exact) toward the £1400 required for instruments for the Taupo Citizens Silver Band. Some of the instruments are already in town, and the balance are expected next week. Within 20 minutes of the appearance of the Times on agents' counters last Friday, an exmilitary bandsman from England walked into the Hawke's Bay Motor Company's office and offered his services to the band secretary, Mr B. Reading.
