December Rainfall
The rainfall recorded in Taupo at the State Hydro-Electric Department's Station at the Control Gates Dam, during December 1955, totalled 3.145 inches. Rain fell on eleven days. In December 1954 the total was 5.22 inches, with rain on sixteen days.
