TAUPO HOSPITAL NEEDS MORE BEDS
In a report to the Waikato Hospital Board on a recent visit to the Taupo Hospital the superintendent-in-chief of the Waikato Hospital, Mr R. S. A. Graham, said the town was enlarging very rapidly and maternity bookings were steadily rising. He thought as soon as the enlargements to the nurses' accommodation and to the service departments were under way plans for an increase in patients' beds — probably another four — would have to be considered.
