FREE KINDERGARTEN TO HOLD GUY FAWKES BONFIRE

The Taupo Free Kindergarten Association advises that the annual Guy Fawkes night bonfire and fireworks display, which in recent years has been supervised by the Taupo Fire , Brigade, will this year be under the control of the Association, with the assistance of the Fire Brigade and / Begion of Frontiersmen. To mininiise the risk of accidents it is inteiuled that there will be officials on the ground authorised to light fireworks, while part of the duty of Brigadesmen and Frontiersmen will be to see that none are lighted without authority. The bonfire will be- held on the High School ground between Titiraupenga and Kaimanawa Streets. There will be a charge for admission. Proceeds are in aid of the Association's funds.
