Dogs Poisoned

Indigna nt dog owners have reported to the Times the death by poisoning of some half dozen dogs during the past fortnight or so. At a recent Council meeting Cr Yedder st-ated he had been asked whether the Council » were laying poison and had indignantly denied the suggestion. Owners point out tha.t in all cases reported the dogs poisoned had been kept un(1 er control and ehained up at night, and that if those responsible were trying to remove stray dogs they were failing in their purpose and wantonly killing harmless and valuable animals.
