Charges of hunting native pigeons at Hototaka Bush on July 10 last were b rough t against Riwai Iveepa and George McLeocl, by the Conservator of Wlld Life, before Mr W. A. Marlow, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court, Taupo, on Friday, September 30. Mr Dicklnson appeared for the prosecution. Evidence was given by Ranger P. Burstall as to finding three pigeons in a bag on a truck. Convictions were entered in eacli case, with fines of £10 and costs £1.
