C.A.S. ATTRACTIONS NEXT WEEK
Two outstaiiding attractions are being presented in Taupo next week under the auspices of the Cornmunity Arts Service. On Thursday evening, Oetober 13, a concert is to be given . in the War Memorial Hall by Ronald Dowd, Australia's leading tenor, for whieb seats rnay be reserved at Rockyer's Harinony llouse, Tongariro Street On Thursday and Friday, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. each day, there will be an exliibition of oil paint.ings and seulpture in the Returned Services' Association rooms, Memorial Hall. The paintings are the work of modern French artists, and the seulpture eomprises examples of the work of four young New Zealanders.
