Terrific Burden Pending?
The repia cement in about 60 years' time of all State houses in New Zealand will place a terrific burden on the country, declared Mr N. P. Gibson at the monthly meeting of the North Taranaki executive of Federated Farmers at New Plymouth. The Inglewood branch had forwarded a remit asking for such an investigation because the capital cost of building in wood every 50 to 75 years was too great, said Mr Gibson.
