BASKETBALL NOTES

At the Taupo District High School grounds on Saturday afternoon, September 17, the Taupo Basketball Association ended its season with a knockout competition in which six teams took part, College Old Girls being the winners, thus maintaining their unbeaten record for the season. Following the tournament Miss K. O. Lewis, Patron, presented to College Old Girls the K. O. Lewis Cup,/ awarded to winners of the season's competition, and the Knockout Tournament Cup, congratulating Miss P. Maniapoto, who received the' trophies on behalf of her Club, on her team's success.
