LADIES GOLF NOTES

The Forster Trophy and L.G.U. I medal postponed from the previous week owing to impossible weather conditions, were play.ed on September 15 imder ideal golf conditions. Mrs D. Logan headed the field with 89 20, 69. This score of three under standard scratch ' score redueed her handicap to 19. Mrs Irvine played to her handicap with 101—29, 72. Mrs Vedder, who has playecl very little golf this season, returned a good card of 93 — 20, 73, and Mrs Mclsaac was 105 — 31, ?4. In the points competition Mrs Nelson has a strong lead with 49^ points. Mrs Foote is next with 34£ and Mrs Jlennett third with 33.
