The Committee has reluctantly accepted the resignation of Mrs Kruit. who is shortly leaving Taupo. The Committee placed on record its appreoiation of Mrs Kruit's energetic memhership. Mrs Calkin was elected to lill the vacancy. Owing to pressur.e of other work MisS K. O. Lewis recently asked to be relieved of the duties of vice-president. As the Committee desired to retain her seivices in an advisory capacity, and also as a liaison officer with the Borough Council, Miss Lewis consented to remain in office on being excused from other active duties. To bring the Committee up to full strength Mrs G. i Wost was elected to membership. i
