Miss Margaret Sweeney, of Auckland, who made swimming history when she swam Lake Taupo, from Stump Bay to Taupo, on January 30, 1955, in 13 hours 39 minutes. Taupo people wish her well as she competes in the international English Channel race, due to start about
midday today (N.Z. Time).
