TRAMPING CLUB
A general meeting of present ancB prospective members of the TaupcB Tramping Club was held at theB School la&t week to discuss futureB plans and to elect a management com-l mittee. There was not a large attend-| ance but those present were definitely I in favour of continuing the Club's ■ activities. It was reported that, in the first I three months of the Club's existence, I three out of the four trips run had I been well attended. It is intended to I run only monthly trips in the coming months. The following were elected to the I committee : Misses P. Bostock and P. ». Thomas, Messrs R. How, A. McKean I and A. H. O'Keefe. Coming tramps will be advertised in the Taupo Times. Residents interested in becoming members of the Club or who want details of trips should contact a member of the committee.
