Aerial View of Steam Bores
• A plane passenger who travelled by air recently from Auckland to Invercargill reports that the steam columns rising from the geothermal bores at Wairakei were pointed out to the passengers when the plane was flying over Raglan. They remained visible for sorae considerable time as the , plane flew south.
