Drunk in Horomatangi Street
In the Magistrate's Court, Taupo, before Justices, Lucky Itopiha, of Maroa, mill hand, was cliarged with being found drunk in Horomatangi Street on Tliursday night, June 16, and also with casting offensive matter in a public place. Constable W. D. Mills, prosecuting, said that similar' cases arising from drunkermess had caused trouble in the neighbourhood of the taxi stand from time to time and were a nuisance to the taxi proprietors and tlie public. Defendant was convicted on both charges and flned 10s with costs 5s on the first charge, and £2 with costs £1 on the second charge.
