TAUREWA MAORI WOMEN'S WELFARE LEAGUE
Mrs Hepi presided at the June Meeting of the Taurewa Maori Women's Welfare Lea^ue, the opening prayers being led by Mrs Moses. A new member enrolled was Mrs Martha Paul. Observers were Miss M. Konui and Messrs T. Hepi, J. Hepi L. T. Herkt, M. Kaio, J. Phillips, B. Pakau, and a number of visitors from Kapoor's Mill. Competition results were as f ollows : — Apron: Mrs Paul, Mrs Manui, Mrs Ruhe. Taniko: Mrs Moses, Mrs Turanga, Mrs Thompson. Decorated Bowl: Mrs Turanga, Mrs Manunui, Mrs Herkt. Coat Hanger: Mrs Ruhe, Mrs Herkt, Mrs Manunui. Health: Mrs Paul, Mrs Turanga. The hostesses for the evening were Mrs Manunui and Mrs T. Anania.
