Albatross at Cambridge
Birdies are hard to get, Eagles the golfer's dream, and an Albatross the miracle. Yet Charlie Sayer performed this miracle of a two at a fivebogey hole when playing in the Cambridge Handicap on Saturday, May 7. He must have been very surprisec but no more sA than the four who were putting 011 the eleventh green r at the time. Considering it was safe to play his second from the high ground, Charlie let go a beautifu. shot, which landed short, ran on to the green, passed between the legs o:: a player about to putt, and droppec into the hole for a three under par . result.
