Notice is hereby given that the Taupo Domain Board, acting in pursuance of Section 21 (c) of the National Parks Act 1952, prohibits the public from entering or encroaching, as from May 14th, 1955, on any part of the area known as the Taupo Sports Ground whilst improvements are being made and the area is laid down in grass. Such grounds will be closed until further notice. J. E. , STORY, Chairman Taupo Domain Board. TAUPO BOROUGH COUNCIL SPECIAL ORDER Road Sealing and Plant Purchase Loan, 1955 — £10,000. NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Taupo Borough Council held on Wednesday, 20th day of April, 1955, the following resolution was passed, viz : — That the Taupo Borough Council, pursuant to the provisions of the Local Bodies Loans Act. 1926, and ■ Amendments and in pursuance of the i sanction of the Local Government . Loans Board grantecl on the 30th day ; of March, 1955, and in pursuance of all other Acts, Powers and Authorities enabling it in that behalf, doth hereby resolve by way of Special Order as follows : — 1 That a loan of Ten Thousand Pounds be raised in New Zealand by the Taupo Borough Council for the purpose of sealing roads in the Borough and purchase of Plant. 2 That the rate of Interest on the said loan or any part thereof shall be at. the rate of Four Pounds (£4 ) per centum per annum. 3 That the term of the said loan or any part thereof shall be fifteen (15) years. 4 That the security for. Interest and Principal and repavment of the said loan shall be a special rate of one half penny (ld) in the £ on the rateable value (on the basis of the Unimproved Value) of all rateable property within the Borough of Taupo. And public notice is hereby given that a poll of ratepayers is required to be taken on the proposal to raise the loan herein before referred to in accordance with Section 3 of the Local Bodies Loans Amendment Act, 1951, if five (5%) per cent of the ratepayers of the Borough so demand by writing under their hands delivered or sent by post to the Town Clerk, Borough Council Office, Story • Lane, Taupo, before the date fixed ? for the confirmation of the resolution ' to raise the said loan. ; And notice is hereby given that { the resolution is to be submitted for : confirmation at an ordinary meeting of the Taupo Borough Council to be held in the Council Chambers.
