Municipal Housing

The Borough Council has been advised by the Commissioner of Crown Lands that the owner of a section, backing *on to the reserve in Rifle Range Road on which two houses for Borough staff are to be erected, has lodged an objection to the proposal. Councillors pointed out that the objector's section was a deep one, as were the Borough sections, and the housing proposal could not affect the owner's privacy any more than would be the case if the reserve were used as a reserve, if as much. The objector's section had no dwelling on it at present. The objection was left to the Mayor and Town Clerk to reply to.
