NEW A.C. BATHS DRAW RECORD NUMBERS

The recently constructed new A.C. Baths, which were opened for use shortly before the holidays, have proved very popular, drawing a record number of bathers. There are eight separate baths, of concrete construction, all in one building, each being twelve feet by six feet, and four feet in depth. The temperature of the baths- is 103 degrees. The Baths custodian is Mr Charles Jacobi. • Single bath tickets issued from pecember. 20 to Japuary 1, inclusive, tcrtalled 3,743 at 9d each, and in addition concession tickets were sold to a total value of £115/18/-. During all busy periods at the Baths those buying or presenting tickets, are handed numbered tokens, and take their turn as baths tiecome vacant. as is indicated by tHte number thereon.
