Man Severely Burned
Mr Wallace Kilmister suffered severe and painful second degree burns on both arms, face and chest as the result of an explosion of petrol on Monday, December 13. He was taken to Rotorua Hospital in the St. John Ambulance Brigade's ambulance after receiving medical attention. Mr Kilmister was burning rubbish at his new premises on the corner of Roberts Street and Titiraupenga Street, land it is understood he had used some petrol to start the fire. *5* A.C. Bath Season Tickets. No season tickets are to be issued for the A.C. Baths in future, but the Council had before its recent meeting the matter of existing season tickets. It was decided to give ticket holders the option, of having their season tickets redated for the period that was unexpired at the time the Baths were closed for reconstruction, or of receiving new tickets for single baths at the rate of 6d per ticket for the value of the unexpired portion of the season ticket. If the season ticket holder decides to have his ticket re-dated it will have to be produced each time the Baths are visited.
