Fishermen's Footbridges.
The Lake Taupo and District Anglers' Association has learned that a contract has been let for two anglers' footbridges across the Tongariro River above Turangi. This will be welcome news for fishermen as the two bridges will give access to miles of excellent ! fishing on the other side of the river, which now has to be reached by boat.
