C.W.I. FLOWER SHOW
LIST OF PRIZE WINNERS The Taupo Countrywomen's Institute Flower Show was held in Rickit's Hall on Thursday, Novemtoer 19. There was a good range of exhibits despite the lack of rain in the preceding weeks, and attendance was good. The special Points Prize for most points, covering all classes in the Show, presented by Mr W. J. Stevens, was won by Mrs W. Stowe. Mr G. F. Colbeck's Special Prize, for .most points in Sections 1, 2 and 3 (flowers), was also won by Mrs Stowe. Mrs Smyrk's prize, for outstanding exhibit in the decorative classes, was won by Mrs Wright. Mrs Minett's prize for needlework and woolwork was won by Mrs Allan Wilson and Miss McClymont (equal). Mrs W. King's prize for cookery was won by Mrs A. H. Reid.
