NOTICE is hereby given that the Taupo Borough Council proposes at its meeting to be held on the 3rd day of November 1954 to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £10,000 (ten thousand pounds) for the purposes of purchasing plant and sealing roads. The security for such loan shall be a special rate of five eighths (fd) of a penny in the £1 on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough. Any person having any obj ection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Taupo Borough Council not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
