MAJESTIC THEATRE

There is a double feature of 20th Century Fox films at the Majestid tonight, Friday. "Showdown" is a murder thriller, and "Daughter of the Jungle" a tale of adventure in the wild. The big picture on Saturday, "Plymouth Adventure," portrays one of the most thrilling sea adventures df history, the voyage of the Mayflower from Plymouth to the New World. It is a Technicolor production and features an all star cast led by Spencer Tracy, Gene Tierney and Van Johnson. "On Dangerous Ground" is the picture for Monday next. Wednesday's picture is a Technicolor comedy in which Clifton Webb re-acts with pedantic fury to the elopement of his daughter, Anne Francis, for whose hand no man is worthy. The dual programme on Friday next, October 15, comprises a gangland picture "Captive City" and "Whirlwind," a Western with Gene Autry and his horse 'Champion' in the lead. 9
