MORE BLOOD DONORS WANTED

FOR WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 6 The Blood Bank unit of the Waikato Hospital Board will visit Taupo to collect blood on Wednesday evening next, October 6. Headquarters will be at the Taupo School, and appointments will commence at 6 p.m. In charge will be Dr. Sommerville pathologist at Hamilton, and Mr G. R. George, bacteriologist at Rotorua Hospital. As a number of those whose names are already on the Taupo Blood, Bank Committee, organised by the St. John Ambulance Brigade, have noW left Taupo further volunteers are urgently needed. Volunteers are asked to give their names to Mrs Grace Booth or Mr Arthur Kennedy as soon as possible. Appointment times will be given each blood donor to avoid unnecessary waiting.
