£1 PRIZE FOR FIRST CORRECT SOLUTION OFENED The Citizens' Queen Committee has arranged a weekly quiz competition in aid of the Citizens' Queen candidate, Miss Margaret Smith. Each quiz will consist of six questions, and competitors may submit any number of entries. Each entry must be written in .ink, on a separate sheet of paper, and be enclosed in an envelope marked "Queen Quiz." Entries for i this week's quiz must reach the Taupo Book Club by 5 p.m., Thursday, September 30. Each entry must bear the competitor's name and address and must be aecompanied by 6d for the Citizens' Queen Fund. A prize of £1 will be paid for the first correct solution opened. The winner's name and address will appear in the "Taupo Times" of the week following the closing date. Entrants must number each ans- * wer to correspond with the number of the question answered.
