BASKETBALL NOTES

In last week's play it was unfortunate that High School had to default to Maroa through shortage of players. In a friendly game Maroa defeated School and others 12 — 9. In the K. O. Lewis Cup series, College Old Girls won their match with Primary. Maroa defeated Spa. A Handicap Tournament is to be held tomorrow, Saturday, all teams assembling at 1- p.m. sharp, handicaps being based on positions in the K, O. Lewis Cup competition. The team with the highest aggregate goaling score will win Tournament Buttons. These, and the K. O. Lewis Cup, will be presented later at a ball to be held by the Association and the Rugby Sub-Union.
